Ionic-Test
Test the software you didn’t build, with evidence you can trust, and without a specialist.
What it is
Ionic-Test is test automation for people who have to test a system they didn’t write: a supplier’s release, a new version of a platform, a change someone else made. You don’t need to write code, and you don’t need a test specialist to hand.
Record a test by doing it
Do the journey once in your browser. Ionic-Test turns it into a test you can read in plain words, add checks to, and run again.
Run it whenever the system changes
Group tests into test suites and run them on your own machine, against the system and version you are testing. Each run keeps its steps, screenshots and traces.
Evidence you can trust
Results go to your Hub, where a run is kept as it happened. An evidence pack is signed off by a named person, and anyone can check that it has not changed since.
Defects with the proof attached
When a step fails, raise a defect with the evidence from that run, so the supplier sees what you saw.
